Announcements

It is everyone's responsibility to know what is said in this topic. Check here on occassion.

That said, two things come to mind. First, please don't advertise for this site. We will take care of that when we have time, or ask you to, but until we are ready (or about ready), we don't want a lot of people coming here and expecting things to start immediately.

Second, we still have quite a bit to do until we start. The rules thread is a good place to see far we are. As you can see now, we aren't quite ready. If I had to guess, I'd say about 50-60%, but a lot of important stuff still to do.

The Website has been updated - there are lots of biographies there. If you find any mistakes or have any suggestions please send me a pm ;)

We are getting closer to starting the game so, if you have friends who would be interested, please tell them about us.

Made a small change to the Engineer skill. The overall value that people can re-energize a gate has went up some to compensate for the gate damage formula we finished inside.

In the future, I'll try to post changes to current rules here, even though the sim hasn't started, just so we don't surprise you with too much.

Also, welcome everyone who has come here so far. I look forward to making this sim experience a good one for you.

Another very small update: I edited the sign-up rules at the bottom for brief explanations of what each stat does.

In the Ruling and Kingdom Turns section, the title "governor" has been replaced with "administrator". The officer in charge of a city is now known as the Administrator. This was changed because of a name conflict with the ruler ranks (still in development).

The Dueling rules have been altered. The chance of various tactics succeeding has increased.

The skill Diplomat has been changed somewhat. Instead of granting percentage boosts to the end-result of bonding (the actual bond), it now grants a boost to the chance that the attempt at bonding will give extra bond, as you will be able to see in the Personal Turn rules that could be posted today.

The Duelist packages have been listed under the duelist skill to make it easier to make selections during character creation.
